Ginger Turmeric Tea
A soothing tea to support your immune system and help you feel better

- 3 slices ginger thinly sliced
- 2 slices turmeric root thinly sliced
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 350 mL hot water
- 2 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed is best
- 1 tsp honey choose pure, raw honey
- 1 slice lemon optional
Boil water in your kettle
Wash then thinly slice the ginger and turmeric - no need to peel
Add the slices to your mug along with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Pour the hot water over the ginger, turmeric and pepper in your mug. Allow to steep for 3 to 4 minutes - longer if you like it stronger.
To finish, stir in the honey and add a slice of fresh lemon
